Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Jamie Thinnes and I am DJ, producer and founder of Seasons Recordings, Seasons Limited and Earthtones Recordings.

What hardware are you using?

I travel to all my gigs in town and out of town with my DJR 400 mixer that I play on. At home I have my UREI 1620 and my Dope Real Isolator w/ Technics SL-1200 MKII and Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK1.

What software are you using?

I still love playing in town gigs with vinyl and most of my traveling gigs still playing CD's. I know a lot of people have made the switched to the computer, but for me I still need some sort of digging in the crate or CD book at gigs.

What would be your dream setup?

Full Funktion-One sound system designed in a room built for friends and family to come and dance…

Any production tips & tricks you'd like to share?

Produce what comes from the heart and not try to be anyone, that is where the magic happens..
